MY STORY

Why ALIM EDUCATION?

My name is Lynden Cooke. My educational background includes a PGCE in Primary Teaching and a BA in Sport Development, both from Plymouth Marjon University.

I am certified in FA Football Coaching Level 1 and FA Futsal Coaching Level 1, as well as Safeguarding in Education.

With over four years of experience as a Primary School Teacher at Al Jazeera Academy International School in Qatar, I am adept at teaching the British Curriculum.

I specialise in crafting engaging lessons, accommodating EAL students, and applying White Rose Maths strategies.

I focus on STEM education, using Spike Prime for coding and robotics, alongside AI to enhance learning and teacher efficiency.

My background as a Supply Teacher & Trauma Support Educator across primary schools and trauma settings has honed my adaptability and ability to build solid student-teacher connections.

As a Camp MasterChef USA Counselor & Supervisor, I've crafted engaging learning materials for varied students, led a team in creating an extensive handbook on activities, rules, and events, and facilitated interactive sessions.
